At St. John's, we look to Christ as our example.
This starts by studying God's Word, which we do daily in Religion class. We also attend a weekly Chapel service together in the Church. We learn Bible stories and memorize important Bible verses. Our prayer is that the faith & Christian values learned by your child at St. John's will carry with him or her in the challenging teenage years ahead.
Many of our school families are not Lutheran. However, they find that the core Christian teaching we cover in our curriculum is consistent with most Christian denominations. We feel it is very important that parents understand and support the religious education their students receive at St. John's. As such, we require new families at St. John's to attend an adult information class entitled Discover the Faith. Please see the attached welcome letter from our Pastor that explains further our partnership with parents in raising your child according to Jesus' example.
